From the JP Morgan Gym to His Own Fund

Rajan's path into trading was not typical. He first got close to the markets while working as a personal trainer at the JP Morgan gym, where the traders he coached started giving him tips and sparked his interest. He then moved into the City himself, starting as a clerk writing up forwards, options, and futures contracts in FX, before moving into research and then trading on his own. 

Along the way he wrote market analysis for big platforms like ZeroHedge, TradingView, and FX Street, and built a strong foundation in technical analysis through the Society of Technical Analysts, where he later lectured. After trading for an investment fund, he opened his own fund, DND Capital, where he and his team now train and coach traders and manage their own money.

How Rajan Trades

Rajan keeps his trading deliberately simple. He trades largely naked charts, focusing on raw price and structure instead of a screen full of indicators, and uses tools like the 21 moving average only to set his bias. The goal is to make the chart cleaner without making his decisions weaker. His approach is built around:

He usually takes just one trade a day, sets a fixed stop and target, and walks away. A strong background in probability and statistics, partly from a sports-betting world, sits underneath all of it, and he teaches traders to think in probabilities too. Above all, he treats discipline as his real edge: he aims for steady returns, caps his drawdown, reviews his results in blocks of about 50 trades, and credits years of work on his own psychology, including personality and risk profiling, with making him consistent.

Building and Designing for the Markets

Rajan is also a strategy designer. He builds trading systems and has worked with algorithmic trading firms to turn hands-on strategies into code, which is part of why he can teach a full method rather than just a setup. He puts that into practice through DND Capital, where he trades real money and develops other traders in a fully open live trading room, with his trades, stops, targets, and quarterly results all there for members to see. 

The fund grew to around £1.2 million under management at its peak and has developed roughly six funded traders. It gives good traders the firm's own money to trade with and shares the profits, running on the same honest, process-first approach Rajan uses in his own trading.
